A community called to preach Jesus Christ as part of the

Who are we ?

The Dominican family is composed of Dominican Friars, Nuns, Sisters, Laity and Youths. We share a common heritage in the spirit and charism of St. Dominic. In Kenya, we are present in Nairobi and Kisumu Archdiocese and Ngong diocese. In Uganda, we are present at Kakumiro-Kibaale and Namugongo-Kampala.

3rd Sunday of Easter - Year A

The story of the Road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13–35) reflects the journey many believers experience—from confusion and discouragement to renewed faith. The disciples, burdened by the events of Christ’s death, walk away in sadness, unaware that the Risen Lord is beside them. Through the explanation of Scripture and the breaking of bread, their eyes are opened, and their hearts are transformed. This reflection reminds us that even in moments of doubt, Christ walks with us. When we invite Him to stay, He brings light, understanding, and hope, turning our struggles into encounters of grace and deeper faith.

Sunday Reflections

Insights of St. Thomas Aquinas offer a profound lens through which we explore the Sunday readings. Here, we share reflections rooted in his teachings, inviting a deeper understanding of scripture and faith.
